Q. What areas do you travel to?

A. We generally cover  Western Pa., Pittsburgh , The Airport and surrounding areas. We will travel further for larger jobs or something truly interesting.

Q. What if I see hair line cracks?

A. Hairline cracks are not unusual but you should see no cracks more than 3/16 of an inch.

Q. How thick is concrete poured?

A.  Four inches for non structural slabs such patios and walkways, and six inches for structural slabs such as driveways.

Q. If I decide to get a border, is there additional cost involved?

A. Yes, and it will be specified in the original bid.

Q. When can I use my stamped concrete?

A. After it is sealed 48 hours for foot traffic 14 days for vehicle traffic.

Q. Is stamped concrete slippery?

A. Yes, like any other wet surface it can be slippery but we can apply a non-skid surface with the sealer at the clients request.

Q. Can I put de-icers on my concrete?

A. No. This can compromise your concrete surface. You can remove the snow and apply sand for traction.

Q. Do you have a minimum sq. footage?

A. Yes, 300 sq. feet.

Q. How long does a stamped concrete job take ( weather permitting)?

A. 5 days to do the job and one week for the concrete to cure and be sealed

• 1 day for excavation and prep
• 2 days to pour (borders are poured separately)
• 1 day for clean up
• 1 day to wash and seal

start to finish about 10 days (weather permitting)

Q. Do you do steps and walls in stamped concrete?

A. Yes at an additional charge.
